Paintball Biathlon?

Six years ago, Paintball Biathlon existed only as an offbeat brainstorm kicked around by a group of cross-country skiers in Vermont who were trying to come up with a way to get kids involved in Nordic sports.

Now it’s a niche winter activity generating interest both recreationally for adults and as a potential training tool for junior athletes who aspire to more elite levels of competition

Participants will ski loops on a groomed ski trail, as you ski into the target range a paintball marker will be ready for you and a spotter will count your targets hit. There is a penalty applied for a missed target. The event is timed, with emphasis is on having Fun this will be a great family event.

Courses will be modified for the ages of the participants. The ski track is groomed and track set by Bondi Village Resort. If you want to try this cool sport for the first time Algonquin Outfitters will have equipment available for you.

The course will be open and staffed in the morning, from 10 to 12, for registered participants to practice on the ski track and on the targets. Races will start at 1 p.m,. Prizes are provided by our generous sponsors.
